Former Cape Town City head coach Jan Olde Riekerink has found a new job, and will be heading to Turkey next.
Olde Riekerink was placed on administrative leave at City at the start of May, but left the club officially two weeks ago. He has since been replaced at City by former coach Eric Tinkler.
But Olde Riekerink’s unemployment didn’t last long as he in on his way to join İskenderun in Turkey in a new ‘CEO’ role.
İskenderun are in the Turkish third .
“Our club has made a 3-year agreement with the famous coach Jan Olde Riekerink for his duty as CEO,” the club posted on social media.
“Riekerink will come to Iskenderun on June 5, 2021. We wish the agreement to be beneficial to both Mr. Riekerink and our club.”
