Official: Ronaldo Completes Saudi Move

Cristiano Ronaldo has completed a mouthwatering move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr, the club confirmed on Friday.

The 37-year-old has put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half year deal and will be unveiled by Al-Nassr after Saturday’s match against Al Khaleej, CBS Soccer had reported earlier today.

Now, Al Nassr have announced the historic move of the Portugal captain.

CBSS state Ronaldo will earn $75 million per season, with recent reports stating that Ronaldo was offered a seven-year deal overall, which would see him become an ambassador for Saudi Arabia’s joint-2030 World Cup bid with Greece and Egypt.

Ronaldo was a free agent after agreeing to mutually terminate his Manchester United contract and could sign with any team he wishes.

He was understood to be keen of remaining in Europe but there was no interest in his services (at least not at his financial demands), while Al Nassr have worked on the deal since the previous transfer window already.

They have now completed the deal, which will take Ronaldo into the next stage of his career.
