Limpopo Betway Premiership sides Polokwane City and Sekhukhune United will face off in the first semi-final of the 2026 Mafori Cup on 25 July 2026 at Seshego Stadium.
This is the result of the draw of the newly launched Limpopo Pre-season Cup at the Ranch Hotel just outside Polokwane on Tuesday.
City and Sekhukhune finished inside the top eight bracket in the Betway Premiership last season and will face Mamelodi Sundowns and AmaZulu in the MTN8 competition, respectively.
Rise and Shine and Babina Noko will play in the 9:00 kick-off in the Mafori Cup before the second semi-final between Motsepe Foundation Championship sides Venda Football Club and Magesi FC.

Dikwena tṧa meetse were relegated to the first division having fallen at the promotional playoffs to Milford FC who gained promotion to the top league, while Venda finished ninth place in the Championship with 36 points.
Meanwhile, the second semi-final is scheduled for an 11:00 kick-off with the final set to start at 15:00 at the same venue and it will be broadcast Live on SuperSport TV.
Tickets for the tournament will go on sale today, 14 July for R50, with musician Vicky Simpson and other Limpopo artists performing on the day.
The winners of the tournament will receive R250 000 in prize money, as well as the newly unveiled trophy, while second place with receive R150 000 and third and fourth place walking away with R100 000, each.
