Sundowns Into Bayhill KO Rounds

Mamelodi Sundowns confirmed their place in the Bayhill Premier Cup 2024 knockout rounds after their second straight win on Friday.

Surprise Moriri’s team beat Hungry Lions 1-0 in one of the eight games played on Friday.

Having started with a victory on Thursday, Sundowns have now secured a knockout spot.

There was also a good win for Tshwane neighbours Tuks, who beat Junction Rovers by the same scoreline.

Last year’s winners Grassy Park wrapped up the day in the main game after the official ceremony as they played to a goalless draw against FN Rangers.
