The draw for the 2026 KZN Premier’s Cup has been confirmed, with the tournament set to serve as the curtain-raiser for the new season.
KwaZulu-Natal’s six professional clubs are preparing for the 2026/27 campaign, which will get underway in the next three weeks with the MTN8 quarter-finals before the Betway Premiership kicks off the following week.
Five of the participating teams will compete in the top flight, while Milford FC are the newcomers after earning promotion through the PSL Promotional/Relegation Playoffs.
Other top-flight clubs are AmaZulu, Golden Arrows, Richards Bay, Durban City. Midlands Wanderers are the only Motsepe Foundation Championship side taking part in this year’s tournament.
Last year’s Premier’s Cup was held in Richards Bay, where the Natal Rich Boyz were crowned champions after lifting the trophy on home soil at the uMhlathuze Sports Complex.
This year’s edition will take place in Durban. The first round of fixtures takes place on 25 July at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium, while the semi-finals and final will be played on 26 July at the Princes Magogo Stadium.

Game 1: Golden Arrows vs Milford – 10:00
Game 2: Durban City vs Richards Bay – 13:00
SF1: AmaZulu FC vs Midlands Wanderers – 16:00
Day 2 – Princess Magogo Stadium
SF2: Winner Game 1 vs Winner Game 2
Final: Winner SF1 vs Winner SF2
