AmaZulu have confirmed more new acquisitions, having brought in Veli Mothwa and Phakamani Mahlambi before the transfer window closed on Monday.

Mothwa joins from Chippa United, where he was captain, and will provide good competition in the goalkeeping department.

Mahlambi joins on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns. The exciting forward who broke through at Bidvest Wits a few seasons ago, has struggled for game time at the league champions, and will hopefully use this opportunity to get game time.

After leaving Wits, Mahlambi had a brief spell at Al Ahly in Egypt, before returing to South Africa in 2018 to join Sundowns.

He featured 36 times for Sundowns in all competitions, scoring 6 goals, but has not been part of the match day squads in 2020/2021.

AmaZulu unveiled the players on Tuesday afternoon.
