The draw for the group stages of the CAF Champions League took place this afternoon as Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs learnt who their opponents will be.
Sundowns have been drawn in Group B alongside the DRC’s TP Mazembe, CR Belouizdad from Algeria and Sudan’s Al Hilal.
Meanwhile Chiefs are in Group C and will face Morocco’s Wydad AC, Petro Atletico from Angola and Guinea’s Horoya.
Both teams managed to avoid last year’s finalists Al Ahly (coached by Pitso Mosimane) and Zamalek, who were drawn in Group A and D respectively.
Other full groups:
Group A: Al Merrikh SC, Simba, AS Vita and Al Ahly
