The draw for the final preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup took place on Friday afternoon, as Orlando Pirates were drawn against Jwaneng Galaxy.
Pirates were drawn against Galaxy from Botswana, who Mamelodi Sundowns knocked out of the CAF Champions League.
Meanwhile Bloemfontein Celtic, who are still to have their tie with Nigerian club Rivers United decided, are technically still alive in the competition. The winner of the Celtic-Rivers tie will meet another Nigerian side, Enyimba.
Rivers beat Celtic 2-0 in South Africa, but the Nigerian government didn’t allow Celtic to play the return leg due to Covid-19 quarantine restrictions in the West African country.
