Valenciennes FC boss Vincent Hognon has confirmed that Kaizer Chiefs‘ reported new signing Makabi Lilepo will play no part in Friday evening’s tie against US Orleans ahead of his mooted transfer to Naturena.
Amakhosi are said to have forked out close to R10 million for the 27-year-old Congolese winger who is expected to touch down in Mzansi in the coming days to complete his move to Chiefs from the French third division outfit.
As per Le11, Hognon spoke to the media ahead of the Orleans clash, confirming that Lilepo was ruled out of the match though he did not disclose the reason behind Lilepo’s absence.
“We don’t have too many injuries, apart from Jean Louchet,” Hognon said.
“We also have some flu, some uncertainties.
