This weekend’s DStv Diski Challenge will witness a top-of-the-table clash between Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates while struggling Kaizer Chiefs take on Durban City.
Tuks stadium is the place to be on Saturday morning when log leaders Sundowns tussle with Pirates. The Brazilians are currently on a four-match winning streak while the Buccaneers are looking to bounce back after their six-match winning run was ended by Polokwane City last weekend. At the very same time in Durban at Chartsworth Stadium, Daine Klate’s Durban City will look to add more salt in Chiefs wounds. City won two of their last five matches including a 5-0 win over Magesi FC. Amakhosi on the other hand are struggling and have failed to win a match in their last six encounters. City currently sit in eighth place and Chiefs in ninth place.
Third-placed Richards Bay FC will travel to Limpopo on Sunday to face high confidence Polokwane City. Lukewarm Stellenbosch FC will take a long trip to Bloemfontein where they will face Marumo Gallants.
