Kaizer Chiefs have climbed into second place after their win over Sekhukhune United.
Amakhosi picked up three points on Sunday evening despite having to ring the changes following the Covid-19 outbreak at Naturena.
The Glamour Boys had not pitched for their last two games against Cape Town City and Golden Arrows and the matter is yet to be heard at the league’s DC.
However, Chiefs still moved into second place with 25 points, despite having two games in hand.
The now sit 12 points behind unbeaten leaders Mamelodi Sundowns but could close their gap to just nine, having one game in hand.
Orlando Pirates sit in third spot, level on 23 points with RoyalAM, Stellenbosch FC and Sekhukhune, while Baroka sit at the bottom of the log with just 10 points from 14 games.
