The Premier Soccer League has announced that due to the covid-19 curfew, all DSTV Premiership games played at night will kick off no later than 7pm going forward.
The PSL released a statement on Tuesday night that read:
EXTENDED CURFEW AND CONSEQUENT PSL FIXTURE CHANGES
The President of South Africa, the Honourable Mr. Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa, last night announced an extended curfew as part of the new regulations to address the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. Â
The new regulations fix the closing times for venues hosting sporting events as 22h00. Â
In compliance with the regulations all night matches of the PSL will start at 19h00 at the very latest and be completed on or before 21h00 in the evening.
