Ernst Middendrop has suggested Kaizer Chiefs coach has no respect for him after the recent touchline incident in the DStv Premiership.
Zwane and Middendorp seemed to have shared some heated words on the sidelines as Chiefs beat Maritzburg United 2-0 at FNB Stadium courtesy of goals from Khama Billiat and Nkosingiphile Ngcobo.
The German who had Zwane part of his technical team during his last stint at the Soweto giants admits their issues go further back than the latest clash on Wednesday.
“It’s definitely something… you know respect, if you have respect for the other coach, I think. Just to give a little bit of an input you greet and to the minimum, if you don’t like the other one,” Middendorp told the media.
“The incident was already in this game before and it’s okay, we don’t have to highlight it furthermore, the coach has an opinion about me and he showed it very much. That’s all, that’s fine.”
