SuperSport United goalkeeper Ricardo Goss and Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Phathutshedzo Nange are among six players suspended for round two of the 2022/23 DStv Premiership.
Goss, received a red card in their 1-1 draw against Chippa United on Sunday evening at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium after he appeared to have punched Ronald Pfumbidzai after the defender impeded him as he tried to take a goal kick.

It’s not the first time the player has been sent off for violent misconduct and his actions could face further sanction by the Premier Soccer League (PSL), which would be a major blow to United, who roped him in on a two-year loan as a direct replacement for Ronwen Williams who moved in the other direction to Mamelodi Sundowns.
Phathutshedzo Nange, who was a notable absentee from Chiefs opening day 1-0 loss to Royal AM at Chatsworth Stadium, continues his suspension from the previous season, likewise Marumo Gallants midfield talisman Ndabayithetwa Ndlondo ahead of their clash against Richards Bay in KZN.
Chiefs will face Maritzburg United on Tuesday evening at FNB Stadium while AmaZulu, who have Sibongakonke Ndlovu suspended, will face Gavin Hunt’s boys at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Wednesday.

- Sibongakonke Ndlovu (AmaZulu)
- Phathutshedzo Nange (Kaizer Chiefs)
- Ndabayithetwa Ndlondo (Marumo Gallants)
