Khanye: Chiefs Are Not Mentally Ready

Kaizer Chiefs have a mountain to claim in the second-leg of the MTN8 semi-final against Orlando Pirates, and Junior Khanye has explained why it is an impossible challenge.

The former Amakhosi star believes that the players are running on empty mentally, and this will be the reason why they will be unable to turn around the 3-0 deficit.

Talking to iDiskiTV, Khanye said: “I am sorry I don’t see Kaizer Chiefs going through; you cannot chop and change the team every match and expect good results.

“Chiefs players are mentally empty, the players are in need of motivation before you can even think of coaching the guys.

“On the derby, Chiefs players will not be mentally ready.”
