Mokhele Maloisane has sent a warning to Baroka ahead of their DStv Premiership game against Chippa United this afternoon.
Maloisane says that Chippa have been buoyed by qualifying for the Nedbank Cup final, and want to use the morale-boosting qualification as inspiration for their remaining league games.
He says Chippa are taking this game very seriously, and it’s important for them to get the win, and move away from the relegation zone.
“We are very happy in the camp and we are focused to face Baroka because we are being motivated by the reaching of the semifinals,” Maloisane told Chippa media.
“So I don’t think Baroka is going to have a good game because we’re gonna come at them. That game is very important to us, so we want to win it, we really need to win it. Because we are not in a good position in the league, if you can see.”
“So they will come to us, they’re gonna come to us, because they are also not in a good position. So if we win that game, we’re gonna have 20 points and that’s what we need. And every game from now on is very much important because we want to run away from the relegation zone.”
“So it’s not going to be easy for them, and it’s not going to be an easy game. So we just have to focus and work hard and help one another, like we do most of the time, like every time in the team, so I don’t think we’re gonna have big problems against Baroka, because we are working as a team and we are helping one another to make things happen for the team.”
