Newly signed Kaizer Chiefs defender Thabo Moloisane has discussed how the club’s pre-season camp in Spain is helping them ahead of the new season.
The Phefeni Glamour Boys departed for Spain on the evening of Thursday, 9 July, where they have been preparing for the 2026/27 campaign.

Chiefs played their first training match against Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers, drawing 1-1, courtesy of Etiosa Ighodaro’s goal.
On 15 July, they faced Saudi Pro League outfit Al Kholood and played to another 1-1 stalemate with Asanele Velebayi scoring. On Saturday, 18 July, they then conclude their pre-season tour against Spanish LaLiga club Elche CF.
Moloisane says they have had a great pre-season camp in Spain, adding that it has helped the squad build unity ahead of the new season.
“We have been here for a couple of days, and it has been great to be with the guys,” he said, as per Kaizer Chiefs website.
“The weather has been pretty hot, but we have trained well and training in these conditions will benefit us during the season when we play both at home and in Africa.
“We are building a sense of unity among us to carry into the new season.”
