Chippa United have secured their second signing ahead of the 2023/24 season after landing Craig Martin earlier this week.
The return of Morgan Mamilla as head coach has seen the club secure two of his targets at the start of pre-season, as previously reported by iDiski Times.
Martin was lured from Pirates and Augustine Mulenga, formerly of the Buccaneers has also joined the ranks after a stint back in his homeland with Napsa Stars.
The 32-year-old Zambia international forward has penned a two-year deal with the Chilli Boys which Chairman Siviwe Mpengesi was notably thrilled by.

“Mulenga’s rich experience aligns perfectly with our aspirations for the forthcoming season,” he said. “As he steps into this new journey with us, we extend our warmest wishes to Mulenga for his tenure at the club. Welcome to the friendly city of Ggeberha.”
Mulenga scored 16 goals and registered 26 assists in 106 games across all competitions for Usuthu and the Soweto giants respectively between 2018 and 2022.
