After just a couple of months in Spain, South African striker Zaid Patel has already made a move up the ranks, after signing for a new club this week.
The former Bidvest Wits and Amajita striker, made the move to FC Malaga City, a club in the Spanish fifth tier three months ago.
And since joining the club, the 26-year-old has been scoring regularly, and this week he transferred to third tier Loja CD.
Patel had a promising junior goalscorer, and was a regular goalscorer when given opportunities, but his career had been interrupted by recurring ankle injuries.
After leaving Wits he played for a number of clubs including Stellenbosch, Mpumalanga Black Aces, Cape Town All Stars, Amazulu and Witbank Spurs.
However Patel now looks to be making the most of his opportunity in Spain.
