Sekhukhune United have placed head coach Lehlohonolo Seema on “special leave” with two important league games remaining.
A month ago, Seema was named Coach of the Month April after Babina Noko collected 15 out of 15 points and moved closer to the top three.
United will play in the MTN8 for the first time in the club’s history next season as they are currently sitting in fourth place and no team outside the top eight can reach their 42 points.
iDiski Times understands that Seema has been placed on “special leave” by the club and assistant coach MacDonald Makhubedu, assisted by Paulos Masehe, will lead the team in the last two games.
It is understood that there has been a lot of disagreement between Seema and some members in the management of the club, which led to him to be placed on special leave.
It remains unclear yet, if the issue will be resolved and if he will return to the dugout with his contract also set to expire at the end of this current season.
