Mamelodi Sundowns and TS Galaxy have confirmed their starting 11s for the Betway Premiership clash at Lucas Moripe Stadium this afternoon.
In the first round, Galaxy shocked Sundowns by beating them 1-0 at Mbombela Stadium in what was a mouthwatering clash even though Masandawana have since picked up vital wins as they beat Mpheni Home Defenders 2-0 and Marumo Gallants 3-1 to move 12 points clear at the top with only two defeats this season after 17 games.
The Tshwane giants will be without the services of Denis Onyango and Tashreeq Matthews who both received red cards in their past two games.
The Rockets will be out to complete a rare double as they are on a two-match losing streak having been knocked out of the Nedbank Cup by Motsepe Foundation Championship side Durban City before losing 3-2 to Stellenbosch in the league.
Galaxy find themselves sitting in fifth place with 25 points after 18 games having scored 19 goals and conceding 16 goals in the process.
Looking at previous matches, Sundowns have won six league matches against Galaxy and the Nelspruit side have only won two with one ending in a draw.
