iDiski Times reported that Berg would be joining back in February, when the news broke in Scandinavia.
Now Masandawana have confirmed the arrival of one of the most highly-rated figures in European football.
Berg replaces Jose Ramon Alescano, their former head of technical, who parted ways with the club back in November 2021.
Before he moved to South Africa, Berg was the Development Manager at the DBU, and within his seven-year period the country has emerged as one of the leading sides in world football, having reached the semi-final of the 2020 Euros and qualifying for two consecutive FIFA World Cups.
Berg previously served as a chief scout in both Brøndby and FC Nordsjælland before a seven-year spell as international scout at Premier League giants Chelsea.
