It has been confirmed that SuperSport United have recruited Keenan Bezuidenhout, from Ubuntu Football Academy in Cape Town.
Bezuidenhout, who was part of the Ubuntu team that won the Engen Knockout, was actually recruited a few months ago, but the news was officially confirmed by the Cape Town academy this week.
Bezuidenhout, the younger brother of professional player, Rodwell, follows in the footsteps of Luke Fleurs and Jesse Donn, both Ubuntu products who joined Matsatsana in the past few years.
Ubuntu, who also spent two seasons in the National First Division, are considered one of the top youth academies in the Western Cape.
Bezuidenhout is currently a member of Helman Mkhalele’s National under-20 squad, and the young forward will hope to make an impression at the Cosafa U20 Championship which kicks off later this week.
