Motsepe Foundation Championship side Casric Stars have completed the signing of two former Stellenbosch FC Lelethu Skelem and Asakhe Mzilikazi.
Stars finished third last season in the Motsepe Foundation Championship and qualified for promotional playoffs alongside Cape Town Spurs and Maritzburg United.
The Mpumalanga-based side finished bottom of the promotional playoffs mini-tournament after losing all four matches.
Their quest to fight for promotion this season hasn’t been going well as they are sitting eighth in the league table with 28 points after 20 matches.
iDiski Times understands that Sundra Govinder who is the head coach boasted the squad by bringing in Skelem and Mzilikazi.
25-year-old Skelem was with Maritzburg United before leaving the club late last year.
Mzilikazi (24) is Ajaz Cape Town/Cape Town Spurs academy product and previously played Stellenbosch FC and ABC Motsepe League side Zizwe United.
