Baroka FC have been relegated to the ABC Motsepe League after suffering a heavy defeat against Kruger United.
It was a dark day for Baroka as they’ve been relegated to the third division (ABC Motsep League) after losing 3-0 on Sunday.
Bakgakga came to this game knowing they’ve got a mountain to climb as they faced on-fire table toppers, Kruger United.
Thobela Sikhakhane opened the scoring for Kruger in the seventh minute. Things went from bad to worse for the hosts when they were reduced to 10 men just before the 30th minute.
United took advantage of the one-man advantage, as they doubled the lead in the 62nd minute. Former AmaZulu FC midfielder Celimpilo Ngema made it 3-0 just two minutes later which was the nail in the Baroka coffin.
Meanwhile, Kruger United moved closer to automatic promotion to the Betway Premiership and now just need two points from their final three games to seal their spot in the top flight.
