Durban City are the new Motsepe Foundation Championship log leaders as they and JDR Stars overtook Milford who once again failed to collect maximum points.
On Saturday, JDR picked up a 1-0 victory over Hungry Lions thanks to a goal from Ishmael Wadi, and that moved them a point ahead of Milford, who could only draw 1-1 at Black Leopards. It was their third league game in a row without a win.
Both Cape Town Spurs and Venda Football Club continued their poor form as they lost to Highbury and Baroka respectively, while Casric Stars beat AmaTuks 1-0.
Durban City moved into pole position and ahead of JDR after their 3-0 victory over Leruma United.
On Sunday Orbit College beat Pretoria Callies 3-2 and joined Milford on 24 points, with goal difference keeping the KZN team in second place.
