Magesi Remain In Pole Position

Magesi remains top of the Motsepe Foundation Championship after beating Black Leopards in a Limpopo derby.

Magesi won 1-0 on Saturday to return to the summit, after Tuks had briefly gone top after their 2-1 win over Hungry Lions on Friday.

There were also good wins for two Tshwane sides as Pretoria Callies hammered Platinum City Rovers 4-0, while JDR Stars beat Milford 1-0.

Casric Stars and La Masia drew 2-2, Upington City and Marumo Gallants finished 1-1, while it was goalless between Orbit College and Maritzburg United.

On Sunday, in another Limpopo derby, Venda Football Cub handed Dan Malesela’s Baroka another promotion setback, as they won 1-0.
