Maritzburg United have roped in former Richards Bay coach Pitso Dladla as the assistant coach to Simo Dladla.
The Team of Choice have done yet another change in the technical after releasing Zipho Dlangalala few months ago.
United find themselves closer to relegation than promotion in the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
The team from KwaZulu-Natal are sitting in 11th place with 20 points after 17 matches, four points away from the relegation zone.
Having not won a single match in the last six fixtures, the KZN-based side had to act quickly by bringing in the experienced Pitso Dladla.
Dladla led the Natal Richboyz to the DStv Premiership in the 2021/22 season by clinching the Motsepe Foundation Championship league title with 54 points, two points ahead of University Of Pretoria.
He comes in a situation when they under a massive pressure to gain promotion to the topflight. It has been confirmed that Dladla will be with the club until the end of the season.
