Motsepe Foundation Championship outfit Baroka FC have unveiled 11 new signings ahead of the 2024/25 campaign, including former Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates striker Siphelele Mthembu.
Bakgaga made the announcement of the new arrivals at the club’s village in Lebowakgomo on Saturday afternoon, with chairman Kgurishi Mphahlele expressing delight at the new developments as well as making mention of their new sleeve sponsor Mafori Group, on a three-year deal with an option of a further renewal.

“I am happy today on this big day as the current chairman of Baroka Football club,” Mphahlele said as per the club’s social media.
“We thank all the media from everywhere because without you we are nothing. We are here for four important reasons.
“A football club must be talked about because if they don’t, then the club is nothing.
“Our old sponsor Clover called me one day they wanted to come back which is good.
“We are going to introduce a 16 years old. Which team in our league will sign a 16 years old?
“Can we all have a moment of silence for Mr. John Mphosi, his son Theo and fighter Moshe Mphahlele.
“Our new sleeve sponsor will be Mafori Group,” Mphahlele added.
