Kaizer Chiefs and Milford FC have confirmed their starting lineups for this evening’s Nedbank Cup clash at FNB Stadium.
The Amakhosi could have a chance to end their nine year trophy drought if they could go all the way in the Nedbank Cup. While Chiefs have won this trophy more than other team, 13 times, they haven’t won the South African FA in the last 10 years.
They will hope to improve on last season when they came close to reaching the final, but got knocked out by their arch rivals Orlando Pirates in the semis.
The Ephefeni Glamour boys do a bad reputation of being knocked out by lower league sides, but Milford have been struggling in the Motsepe Foundation Championship. The KwaZulu Natal based side will be participating in this competition for the first time since they purchased Uthongathi’s second tier status.
Milford are sitting in 12th place in the Motsepe Foundation Championship with 20 points after 19 matches, one point above relegation.
