Banyana Banyana stars Thembi Kgatlana and Jermaine Seoposenwe were both on the scoresheet in the Liga MX Femenil in the Mexico this weekend.

Table-toppers Tigres UNAL, Kgatlana’s new club, faced Pumas UNAM on Saturday and came away with an impressive 5-1 win.

However, when Kgatlana, who started the game on the bench, entered the pitch in the 56th minute for Joceline Montoya the game was still tied at 1-1.

Tigres, though, turned the screws in the second half, with a brace by Stephany Mayor in the 76th and 81st minute.

Afterwards, Kgatlana stole the show, netting herself a brace in the 84th and 95th minute on her debut for the Mexican side.

Meanwhile, Seoposenwe rescued a point for Rayadas Monterrey in a 2-2 with Pachuca Femenil.

The Banyana forward netted an 80th minute equaliser after her team came back from 2-0 down against Pachuca.

Tigres currently sit on top of the log, with six points from two games, while Monterrey are fifth with four points. Mazatlan, the new club of Hildah Magaia and Sinxolo Cesane, sit at the bottom with zero points from two games so far.
