Fadlu Davids has started his reign at Simba SC with an emphatic 3-0 win over Tabora United on Sunday.
Simba, who finished in third place last season, appointed the South African as their new head coach, as they try to break the Young Africans three-year reign in the Tanzanian Premier League.

It was Davids’ first match in charge of the Tanzanian giants and his side lived up to the expectations against Tabora who just survived relegation via the playoffs last season.
Simba opened the scoring in the 13th minute via Che Malone Junior and took their slender lead into the break.
They added two more goals in the second half, as Valentino Mashaka scored the second in the 71st minute, while Awesu Awesu added a third in the fifth minute of injury-time.
Simba and Davids, though, will face tougher tasks in the coming weeks, facing Fountain Gate and Azam, who came second last season, in the next two games.
For now, Davids’ new side have moved into first place of the Kuu Bara log and you check the full table in iDiski Times’ new match centre.
