Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana legend Doctor Khumalo has shared his well wishes with Thembinkosi Lorch after his move to Wydad Athletic Club was confirmed.
Lorch, 31, joined Wydad on a short-term deal and will link up with Rulani Mokwena for a third time in his career.
The former Sundowns winger has not played regular football over the last two years, somewhat failing to live to expectations after his move from Mayfair to Chloorkop last year January.
He was now given a new lease of life by Mokwena, who lured him to Morocco, and Khumalo hopes the winger will be treated well in North Africa.
“It’s a very awkward atmosphere… Will it be positive for him or what,” he said on Soccerzone.
“But as a South African I just wish him the best of luck, he’s a good player and I hope and wish that he will be treated well in Morocco.”
