South Africa international forward Cassius Mailula has officially parted ways with Toronto FC in the middle of the Major League Soccer season.
The 25-year-old joined the MLS club from Mamelodi Sundowns in a reported $1.6-million transfer in 2023 but failed to establish himself at the club.
Over the last two seasons, he went out on loan to Wydad Athletic Club and KV Kortrijk in Belgium – but has now seen his contract that was due to expire in December, mutually terminated.
His agency P-Management confirmed the exit via their official social media channels; and there’s already been speculation that his next move has already been secured.

Since leaving Sundowns he’s featured 48 times for Torono, Wydad and KVK respectively, scoring eight goals with eight assists.
