Esteghlal head coach Dr Pitso Mosimane admits that there’s still room for improvement from his side despite a five match-unbeaten run.
Esteghlal advanced to the last 16 of the Hazfi Cup after narrowly beating Mes Kerman 1-0. Once again, Mosimane’s side finished the game with 10-men for the third successive time.
They are currently unbeaten in five matches in all competitions and aim to extend that to six matches when they face Gol Gohar on 16th December in a league match.
Mosimane admitted that there’s still a long way to go for his side, but the most important thing is to advance to the next stage in the cup game.
“We are not where we are supposed to be, we have a long way to go as Esteghlal in my opinion where Esteghlal must be,” ‘Jingles’ told the media.
