Ronaldo Runs Riot Vs Pitso

Cristiano Ronaldo ran riot against Pitso Mosimane’s Abha Football Club, scoring a first-half hat-trick.

Ronaldo opened the scoring in the 10th minute via a superb free-kick, before making it 2-0 after 21 minutes.

Sadio Mane got in on the action after 33 minutes to make it 3-0 for the visitors.

But that wasn’t the end as Ronaldo added his third in the 42nd minute before setting up Abdulmajeed Al-Sulaiheem for the fifth just two minutes later.

With the three points all but secured Al Nassr coach Luis Castro took Ronaldo and Mane off, but it didn’t end the scoring.

Abdulrahman Ghareeb made it 6-0 after 51 minutes before Abdulaziz Al-Aliwa scored the seventh in the 63rd minute.

Al-Aliwa added the eighth goal in the 86th minute, as Mosimane suffered the heaviest defeat of his coaching career.

It was a tough outing for Mosimane’s side, who stayed in 15th place on the log. But despite the heavy defeat they are just three points away from safety after collecting eight points under the South African coach so far.
