Wydad Athletic Club coach Rulani Mokwena has alleged that he was racially abused after his side’s 2-2 draw with Ittihad Tanger on Saturday.

Mokwena and his side came from behind to salvage a point, which left them five points behind log leaders RS Berkane.

The game was a heated affair and emotions boiled over after the final whistle, with Mokwena alleging he was racially abused by the opposition bench.

“What makes me very upset and disappointed is that I was subjected to some racist comments by the opposition,” he said at his post-match press conference.

“And I don’t like that and I don’t think I deserve that. I don’t think I came to Morocco to be racially abused.

“It’s not right.”
