Rulani Mokwena’s Wydad Athletic Club have qualified for the Round of the 16 of the Throne Cup after beating FUS Rabat 1-0 on Friday night.
Wydad came into the game on the back five successive draws, including a 2-2 with fourth-placed FUS Rabat two weeks ago.

However, on Friday The Red Castle secured a 1-0 win thanks to a goal by Mohamed Moufid in the 58th minute.
Thembinkosi Lorch started the game, as he continues to leave his mark in Morocco.
Wydad are now unbeaten in eight successive games under Mokwena, and are still competing in the Throne Cup, the Excellence Cup, while fighting for the CAF Champions League spot in the Botola Pro Inwi.
