South African forward Luther Singh has been named one of AEL Limassol’s captains for the 2026/27 season.
The Cyprus League campaign got underway this past weekend, with Singh’s side making a winning start after defeating Anorthosis 2-0.

Davor Zdravkovski was appointed as the club’s first captain last week as Hugo Martins’ side prepared for the new campaign.
The club subsequently announced three vice-captains, with Julious Szoke named first, followed by Singh and Ivan Milosavljevic.
Singh joined Limassol at the beginning of the 2024/25 season and has established himself as one of the club’s key players over the past two campaigns.
The 28-year-old has made 65 appearances for the club, scoring 11 goals and providing 22 assists.
