Former Siwelele FC striker Wayde Lekay has officially joined Indian Super League side Churchill Brothers FC.
Lekay completed a move to Churchill Brothers FC on the transfer deadline day in India in what will be a move to familiar territory.
The 29-year-old makes his second return to Churchill Brothers after he had a successful spell in the 2024/25 season netting 11 goals and contributing four assists.
The former Cape Town City man was with Siwelele FC in the 2025/2026 season and made seven appearances all coming from the bench.
His struggle at the club saw him leaving on a free transfer for his eighth team in his career.
There are two South African players currently playing in India, with Bongani Zungu recently joining Malappuram FC after his exit from AmaZulu FC.
