Newly appointed Asante Kotoko coach Eric Tinkler has opened up about his move to the Ghanaian giants.
Tinkler was unveiled by the African giants on Friday after being unattached for several months following his departure from Sekhukhune United towards the end of last season.

Tinkler described Asante Kotoko as one of the “most storied” clubs, with a rich history on the African continent.
“I am honoured and excited to join one of Africa’s most storied football institutions,” said Tinkler as per the club’s statement.
“Asante Kotoko’s rich history, passion for success and ambition for development is not hidden in Africa.
“I look forward to working with the players, staff, and management to build a team that can compete and win, both at home and on the continental stage.
“I feel proud to be associated with this great club at this historical moment.”
He previously coached Cape Town City FC, SuperSport United, Maritzburg United, Orlando Pirates, and Bidvest Wits FC. During his coaching career, he won the MTN8 and the Telkom Knockout Cup.
