Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies claimed the bragging rights in the Tshwane Derby with a 4-0 thumping of TUT Matsatsantsa, while JVW hammered Ezemvelo 4-1 and TS Galaxy Queens kept in touch with a 3-1 win over Durban Ladies.
Boitumelo Rabale scored a brace to take her goal tally to nine while Nonhlanhla Mthandi and Nthabiseng Majiya came off the bench to seal the victory as Sundowns and keep their 100% clean sheet intact after 11 matches. TUT on the other hand dropped to fourth position on the table with 21 points also from 11 outings. Â

Galaxy Queens moved up to second place on the standings with 23 points after their 3-1 victory over Durban Ladies at Kanyamazane Stadium. Leandra Smeda netted twice while Nicole Michael chipped in the other goal in the side’s 10th game of the campaign. Durban Ladies remained at the bottom of the log with three points and no victory so far in nine matches.
JVW FC completed the top three with a 4-1 victory over rookies Ezemvelo at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium. Captain Robyn Moodaly led with a brace followed by Bonolo Mokoma and Gabriela Salgado’s strikes. The Blue Diamonds have 21 points in 11 matches while Ezemvelo remained in ninth position with 12 points.
