Motsepe Foundation Championship side University of Pretoria are set to appoint former Mamelodi Sundowns set-piece coach Michael Loftman as head coach.

iDiskiTimes has established that AmaTuks are set to appoint Loftman as the head coach for the upcoming season after Kwanele Kopo’s exit.

Loftman has been in Cape Town coaching Western Cape ABC Motsepe League side Houtbay FC since his departure from Masandawana.

AmaTuks haven’t had a good season under Kopo after they finished in 11th place, just six points above relegation spot.

AmaTuks are taking this new rote to bring inLoftman as they aim to fight for promotion to the top flight again.

The Tshwane-based side has been into promotion playoffs twice but failed to make it to the Betway Premiership. They last played in the top league back in 2015/16 season.
