Golden Arrows have parted ways with young defender Thokozani Lukhele, adding to their growing list of departures ahead of the new season.
Abafana Bes’thende have undergone a major squad overhaul as they rebuild under new head coach Pitso Dladla, who replaced Manqoba Mngqithi.
The club has already bid farewell to Keenan Phillips, Brandon Theron, Sanele Shabalala, Gladwin Shitolo, Sazi Gumbi, Nduduzo Mhlongo, Thabo Matlaba and Shadrack Khobedi.
Meanwhile, Siyanda Ndlovu also left the club, completing a move to Mamelodi Sundowns after being heavily linked with Orlando Pirates.
The KwaZulu-Natal outfit could also soon lose Ivorian midfielder Issac Cisse, who is set to join Belgian side Royal Charleroi SC.
Lukhele, who joined Golden Arrows from JDR Stars in 2024, now departs after a two-and-a-half-year spell with the club. During his time at Arrows, Lukhele accumulated 33 appearances, registering one assist in the process.
