Golden Arrows midfielder Isaac Ismael Cisse has left South Africa to complete his transfer to Belgian Pro League side Royal Charleroi.
The 19-year-old midfielder joined Arrows from Ivorian academy SO Armée – which came as a surprise with the player linked with moves to France.
Arriving as a U20 and U23 international four his country, Cisse lived up to the expectations and netted five goals in 26 games for the club, forming an integral part of the new look side under Manqoba Mngqithi last season.
His performances earned him a nomination for the Young Player of the Year award and major interest from the big three in the Premier Soccer League.
Lucrative offers also arrived from North Africa and the Gulf, including Al Ahly and Esperance Sportive de Tunis but the player opted for the Belgian switch after the club reached an agreement with Arrows.
Cisse is expected to be unveiled imminently after arriving – having penned a four-year deal with an option to extend.
