Motsepe Foundation Championship side Baroka Football Club have completed the signing of former TS Galaxy winger Masilakhe Phohlongo.
Phohlongo, 26, left Galaxy at the end of 2022/23 season after his contract expired and it was not renewed.
The 26-year-old is a Ajax Cape Town/Cape Town Spurs youth product but left the club in 2020 to join The Rockets.
During his two seasons in Mpumalanga, he made 36 appearances across all competitions and scored six goals.
In 2020/21 season he won the Goal Of The Season award in the colors of Galaxy after scoring a screamer against Orlando Pirates in a 1-0 victory at Mbombela Stadium in May 2022.
According to information gathered by iDiski Times, Phohlongo has agreed to a one-year contract with Baroka with an option to extend.
Bakgakga are sitting eighth on the league table with 11 points after nine games and he is expected to be in the squad on Wednesday afternoon when Baroka faces struggling Milford.
