Chippa United are close to concluding a potential loan of Aphelele Teto from Scottish side Livingston FC.
Teto, 21, secured a move to the Scottish side with no up front transfer fee ahead of 2023/24, as the Rockets banked on his development in Europe to earn a financial profit.
Livingston initially spotting the diminutive midfielder during Galaxy’s mid-season trip to Europe in 2023, and wrapped up a deal in August 2023.
However, Teto had his work permit rejected by the Governing body endorsement (GBE) upon arrival in Scotland. A second application in January was also rejected.
With Teto unable to feature for Livingston, the Chilli Boys are set to have enquired about a potential loan, iDiski Times has learnt from sources close to the 21-year-old.
Meanwhile, Livingston, who were playing in the Scottish top flight when Teto arrived, have been relegated to the Championship in 2023/24.
Teto, who made his debut under Sead Ramovic in February 2022, made 19 appearances for Galaxy in 2022/23 with two assists to his name.
