Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Ranga Chivaviro has completed his move to Kuwait Premier League outfit Al-Fahaheel SC after a successful spell in Saudi Arabia with Al-Adalah.
The 33-year-old netted an impressive 13 goals with two assists in 28 outings for the Saudi First Division outfit last season.
His exploits have since earned him a fresh chapter in his career in the Kuwaiti Premier League where he will be looking to pick up from where he left off.
Last season, Al Fahaheel finished sixth in the 18-team league which ultimately saw them miss out on qualifying for the Champions League 2 and Challenge League.
Al Fahaheel have now acted decisively to strengthen their attacking department ahead of the new campaign, with Chivaviro expected to bring his experience, physical presence and eye for goal to the club’s frontline in order to improve from last season’s dismal run.
After spells in South Africa with Marumo Gallants and Chiefs before descending to Saudi Arabia, the Limpopo-born marksman is now embracing another challenge in the Middle East as he aims to make an immediate impact and help his new employers compete for honours.
