Cape Town City have announced the signing of attacker Mfundo Thikazi, as first reported by iDiski Times.
Thikazi, 27, spent the last six months with Casric Stars in the Motsepe Foundation Championship after joining the club in January 2026.
His addition was meant to be aiding Casric secure promotion to the Betway Premiership though that was unattainable as the Mpumalanga-based outfit fell short, finishing fourth in the league standings.
On Sunday, this publication revealed that the former Royal AM winger had been snapped up by the Citizens alongside the likes of Thabang Monare, Parslie Fielies and Marcelo Suarez.
The Citizens will be aiming for a promotion to the Betway Premiership after failing to secure it through the PSL Promotional/Relegation Playoffs, which was won by Milford.
