Golden Arrows midfielder Isaac Cisse is set to join Belgian club Royal Charleroi SC ahead of the new season.
The Ivorian midfielder spent just one season in South Africa after joining Abafana Bes’thende at the start of the previous campaign from SO Armée.
He emerged as one of the league’s exciting performers under the guidance of Manqoba Mngqithi, who also parted ways with the KwaZulu-Natal outfit at the end of last season.
Cisse, a key figure for Arrows, made 26 appearances across all competitions, scoring six goals during his only season in the PSL.
His impressive performances attracted interest from clubs both locally and abroad, with Royal Charleroi ultimately winning the race for his signature during the current transfer window.
However, Cisse has yet to travel to Belgium to join his new club. He has been attending Golden Arrows’ pre-season training but has been training separately and has not taken part in the team’s sessions.
